Nothing to report

Nothing exciting to report and that's exciting, isn't it?
Ellis played 7th grade basketball this last season and since her team was small each girl played nearly the entire game. They were all exhausted after their games. They were able to beat Vashon @ home and then away the following day. It was fun. We've got to find our next sport, though.
Ellis and her buddy Ashlyn competed at a Medina sponsored chess tournament last weekend which only had a few girls in attendance. Both played pretty well, but they think they could use a little practice. Anyone up for a game?
School has been time consuming as the homework load and requirements are extremely high in the BISD. Ellis is keeping great grades, but it's hard work, especially when she misses a day here or there.
Last week she missed classes for a 3 1/2 hour neuro-psych test @ Children's Hospital. Wowsa!
We're all looking forward to Spring Break with some warmer weather and time to decompress. The kids are going to help dad paint the playroom as we convert it from a pool room to a more useful family fun zone. Lots of patching, sanding, vacuuming and painting in our near future.
