The snoozer is in surgery again for replacement of her central line which move around a bit during transplant. It is the means of access for all her many meds and blood draws so its a necessary procedure.
Denise, the coolest anesthesiologist in the world is with her again. Then she'll be back in room for tube removal.
Things are going really well.
Anna, one of her favorite nurses is rocking the ICU as we like to say. She making sure everything is in order from new sheets, lines, and dosing to surgery prep, charting and emotional support. She even debates with the Attendings, Fellows, RTs, etc. she has Ellis' best interest at heart! She even copied her Pandora station at home just to stay in touch with Ellis while at home.

Thanks for the updates! We love hearing the +++ news on Ellis & her recovery. I notice how pink her lips are in the pic you posted -- sign of a perfectly-pumping ticker :-)
