This girl is the politest patient around. She remember to thank her lead cardiologist for the lovely gesture he made three days earlier when she was struggling to eat. He and a colleague went to have a late lunch of sushi and brought her back some! When Ellis was barely alert and her vision still blurry yesterday, he stopped in to check on her progress. She heard his voice and loudly said "Thank you for the sushi!" and promptly went back into her sleepy state.
She has a very peaceful night. Waking a few times with discomfort but used her PCA and quickly relaxed. We watched a little Thor from 5:15-5:17. Somehow the dramatic fight scenes deepened her sleep.
She's going under sedation again this morning when they'll remove tubes, wires and such.
She is doing amazingly well.
