Ellis' second surgery in two days has her recovering again by asking for Apple soda, shaved ice and wonton soup. She had a little if each and is now resting peacefully.
Her new heart is being supported by the exact same drugs as her last as we train her body to behave with the new organ. Immunosuppressants were started and one chest tube was removed.
The only thing she's complained about this afternoon was a blood pressure test. Funny huh? It's the little things.
Mom and dad are blurry eyed but so joyous it's all good.
