But she started to feel a bit poorly a bit later. Went NPO (nothing by mouth) after 7 in order to do what hopefully will be one final medical procedure (on requiring sedation that is). Her central broviac was not functioning properly and it is needed to deliver her IV medicines, so down she went to IR for this surgery. Back at 4:30 or so and ate some Granny Smith apples with melted caramel and drank some cranberry juice.
Back asleep while watching Sponge Bob.
Heart is doing great. They are keeping TIGHT controls on her blood pressure to stave off any more seizures! Thank goodness. It's hard as many of the immunosuppresants or steroids also effect BP. Neurologists thinks seizure is a one time thing related to meds. Another good thing after a scary deal.
It's still not easy, but docs think we will be out of ICU in a couple days. That would be awesome for all of us emotionally.
