Post Surgery Day 8

Day started off wonderfully. Ellis was bright eyed and hungry. Used the restroom and dad had her sitting at window. She was buttering her English muffin in mom's arms when she had a seizure! ICU team quickly jumped in and help her calm and recover with a stat dose of Ativan. Pretty scary!
She's currently in getting an MRI (took all day to get in). Its now 18:00. Some docs think its a side effect of one of the immunosuppressive drugs, but are being cautious.
A bedside neurological assessment showed no issues. That med dose has been reduced. It's a fine line.
Her heart is working marvelously. Still weaning off meds. Had pacer wires removed. That's good news. I'll repost when I know more.
