Wow, a very busy day here. Dad spent the night and we awoke to a blood draw. Darn vampires. Numbers were good according today's cardiologist. So things are good on that front.

Ellis seems comfortable with the concept of the procedure tomorrow and isn't as worried as the rest of us. We expect to hear good things!



Janet Patrick stopped by with a couple of cool presents. One we almost went out to get today was the friendship bracelets by Klutz. But my aunt thought of them. Totally cool! We started one late this evening. She also gave El a unique mosaic tile kit. Ellis and her friend Ashlyn played with it for quite a while. Thanks to Ellis' great aunt (our family has two Janet Patricks-crazy, huh?) for the thoughts, prayers, toys and visit.

At almost the same time the Leaders of BI dropped in with more activities. Judi brought several games which we dove right into. We played a family game of SET, and several others. Dad ran out and got another Burgermaster which Ellis inhaled. Morgan, the musical phenom, played some ditties on the keyboard. Thanks Judi and Lee - another great visit from great friends.

Then Ashlyn and Kieran stopped by for several hours. Shea and Jenean ran off and did a little shopping while the kids and Ian played around with all the new toys and Ellis ate some delicious brochette. It was great to see Ashy and El playing. Ellis even ordered her big bro to give her a hug. Too cute.

Listening to Joni Mitchell as we fall asleep. No food after 6am. Nite!
