O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
One week out kids! Boy it was a long week, but Squirt is back. We have smiles, we have eating, we have the opening if the fifth day present from Suzanne.
Crazy the joy of watching her eat an apple or some deli turkey. She's alert and answering questions clearly. Watching the Polar Express.
She had an echo again this am and it's just about the same. She had her arterial line IV just removed and now she can get a shirt on. The cannula is off and she's all smiles. Gonna nap for a bit and the try to walk around the ward! I'll try to get video.
Great progress.
