Post Christmas Day 5 - Discharge

It's a go for discharge. It's sunny in Seattle and it's sunny in our hearts. Ellis will get some respite from the beeps, alarms and wakeups. It'll probably be a weird couple of nights for her.
There are still issues (as there always will be) and her lead cardiologist wants us to come back to the ER on Sunday @ 10A for an echocardiogram to make sure the slight increase in fluid build up is NOT continuing. Ellis still has her PICC line so if they need to make some medicine changes and/or re-admit it won't be too big of a deal.
We are hoping the two days away will give her some rest and hope that the body will push out the fluids.
Pea Vines anyone?
What are you doing on New Year's Day? We will hopefully be making a short visit to the ER and then off to Ho Ho's for a family meal.
Happy New Year everyone! The Patrick's are looking forward to a great year.
